19/56. وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَبِيًّا ..19/57. وَرَفَعْنَاهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا
اور کتاب میں ادریس کا ذکر کر —-بے شک وہ سچا نبی تھا اور ہم نے اسے بلند مرتبہ پر پہنچایا
Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: he was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet: And We raised him to a lofty station.
19/58. أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ آدَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْرَائِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَا ۚ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا
یہ وہ لوگ ہیں— جن پر الله نے انعام کیا— پیغمبروں میں—- اور آدم کی اولاد میں سے— اور ان میں سے جنہیں ہم نے نوح کے ساتھ سوار کیا تھا—- اور ابراھیم اور اسرائیل کی اولاد میں سے—- اور ان میں سے جنہیں ہم نے ہدایت کی—- اور پسند کیا– جب ان پر الله کی آیتیں پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو روتے ہوئے سجدے میں گرتے ہیں
Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace― of the posterity of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel― of those whom We guided and chose; whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears.
19/59. فَخَلَفَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوَاتِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا
پھر ان کی جگہ ایسے ناخلف آئے جنہو ں نے نماز ضائع کی اور خواہشوں کے پیچھے پڑ گئے پھر عنقریب گمراہی کی سزا پائیں گے
But after them there followed a posterity who missed prayers and followed after lusts: soon, then will they face Destruction―
