Chapter 46 Social system of Islam excellent teaching Charge against their spouses, no evidence but their own―In the court they bear witness four times with an oath by Allah that they are solemnly telling the truth

24/6 وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ إِلَّا أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ—-24/7 وَالْخَامِسَةُ أَنَّ لَعْنَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ

او رجو لوگ اپنی بیویوں پر تہمت لگاتے ہیں— اور ان کے لیے سوائے اپنے اورکوئی گواہ نہیں—- تو ایسے شخص کی گواہی کی یہ صورت ہے کہ چار مرتبہ الله کی قسم کھا کر گواہی دے کہ بے شک وہ سچا ہے—-او رپانچویں مرتبہ یہ کہے کہ اس پر اللہ کی لعنت ہواگر وہ جھوٹا ہے

And for those who launch a charge against their spouses, and have (in support) no evidence but their own― their solitary evidence (can be received) if they bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that they are solemnly telling the truth;And the fifth (oath) (should be) that they solemnly invoke the curse of Allah on themselves if they tell a lie.

24/8 وَيَدْرَأُ عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ أَنْ تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ—24/9. وَالْخَامِسَةَ أَنَّ غَضَبَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ —24/10. وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيمٌ

او رعورت کی سزا کو یہ بات دور کر دے گی کہ الله کو گواہ کر کے چار مرتبہ یہ کہے کہ بے شک اس پر الله کا غضب پڑے اگر وہ سچا ہےاور پانچویں مرتبہ کہے کہ بے شک اس پر الله کا غضب پڑے گر وہ سچا ہے—-اور اگر تم پر الله کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت نہ ہوتی اور یہ کہ الله توبہ قبول کرنے والا حکمت والا ہے (تو کیا کچھ نہ ہوتا)

But it would avert the punishment from the wife, if she bears witness four times (with an oath) by Allah, that (her husband) is telling a lie;And the fifth (oath) should be that she solemnly invokes the wrath of Allah on herselfif (her accuser) is telling the truth. If there were not for Allah’s grace and mercy on you, and that Allah is Oft-Returning, Full of Wisdom— (ye would be ruined indeed).
