40/5. كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَالْأَحْزَابُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ ۖ وَهَمَّتْ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ بِرَسُولِهِمْ لِيَأْخُذُوهُ ۖ وَجَادَلُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ فَأَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ 40/6. وَكَذَٰلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ

ان سے پہلے قوم نوح اور ان کے بعد اور فرقے بھی جھٹلا چکے ہیں— اور ہر ایک امت نے اپنے رسول کو پکڑنے کا ارادہ کیا–– اور غلط باتوں کے ساتھ بحث کرتے رہے تاکہ اس سے دین حق کو مٹا دیں— پھر ہم نے انھیں پکڑ لیا پھر کیسی سزا ہوئی اور اسی طرح منکروں پر الله کا کلام پورا ہوا کہ وہ دوزخی ہیں

But (there were people) before them, who denied (the Signs)―

the People of Noah, and the confederates (of Evil) after them;

and every People plotted against their prophet, to seize him, and disputed by means of vanities therewith to condemn the Truth; but it was I that seized them! And how (terrible) was My Requital! Thus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of Fire!

8/30. وَإِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيُثْبِتُوكَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوكَ أَوْ يُخْرِجُوكَ ۚ وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ

اور جب کافر تیرے متعلق تدبیریں سوچ رہے تھے— کہ تمہیں قید کر دیں یا تمہیں قتل کر دیں یا تمہیں دیس بدر کر دیں—– وہ اپنی تدبیریں کر رہے تھے—- اور الله ہی اپنی تدبیر کر ہا تھا— اور الله بہترین تدبیر کرنے والا ہے

Remember how the unbelievers plotted against thee, (Mohammed saw) to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out, (of thy home). They plot and plan and Allah too plans but the best of planners is Allah.

27/ 45. وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ 27/46. قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ 27/47. قَالُوا اطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَنْ مَعَكَ ۚ قَالَ طَائِرُكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ۖ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ 27/48. وَكَانَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ يُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ27/49. قَالُوا تَقَاسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ

اور ہم نے ثمود کی طرف ان کے بھائی صالح کو بھیجا—کہ الله کی بندگی کرو پھر وہ دو فریق ہو کر آپس میں جھگڑنے لگے— کہا اے میری قوم بھلائی سے پہلے برائی کو کیوں جلدی مانگتے ہو الله سے گناہ کیوں نہیں بخشواتے تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے— کہنے لگے ہمیں تو تجھ سے اور تیرے ساتھیوں سے نحوست معلوم ہوئی… کہا تہاری نحوست الله کی طرف سے ہے بلکہ تم لوگ آزمائش میں ڈالے گئے ہو —اور اس شہر میں نو9 آدمی ایسے تھے… جو زمین میں فساد کرتے تھے اوراصلاح نہیں کرتے تھے —کہنے لگے آپس میں الله کی قسم کھاؤ —کہ صالح اور اس کے گھر والوں پر شبخوں ماریں ….پھر اس کے وارث سے کہہ دیں… ہم تو اس کے کنبہ کی ہلاکت کے وقت موجود ہی نہ تھے اور بے شک ہم سچے ہیں

We sent (afore time), to the Thamud their brother Salih, saying, "Serve Allah": but behold, they became two factions quarrelling with each other. He said: "O my people! why ask ye to hasten on the evil in preference to the good? If only ye ask Allah for forgiveness, ye may hope to receive mercy." They said: "Ill omen do we augur from thee and those that are with thee." He Salih said: "Your ill omen is with Allah; yea ye are a people under trial." There were in the City 9 nine men of a family, who made mischief in the land, and would not reform. They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): `We were not present at the slaughter of his people and we are positively telling the truth.’ "

29/24. فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا اقْتُلُوهُ أَوْ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنْجَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ —29/25. وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا مَوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ

پھر اس کی قوم کا اس کے سوا اور کوئی جواب نہ تھا ابراھیم کو— اسے مار ڈالو یا جلا ڈالو.. پھر الله نے اسے آگ سے نجات دی— بے شک اس میں ان کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں جو ایماندار ہیں — او ر کہا تم الله کو چھوڑ کر بتوں کو لیے بیٹھے ہو…. تمہاری آپس کی محبت دنیا کی زندگی میں ہے— پھر قیامت کے دن ایک دوسرے کا انکار کرے گا— اور ایک دوسرے پر لعنت کرے گا— اور تمہارا ٹھکانہ آگ ہوگا اور تمہارے لیے کوئی بھی مددگار نہ ہوگا

So naught was the answer of (Abraham’s) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire: verily in this are Signs for people who believe. Ibrahim And he said: "For you, ye have taken (for worship) idols besides Allah, out of mutual love and regard between yourselves in this life; but on the Day of Judgement ye shall disown each other and curse each other: and your abode will be the Fire, and ye shall have none to help.
